(Held annually on the third Saturday in September)

LOCATION Change for 2011

The City of Hammond is proud to announce that phase 1 of the Downtown Hammond Plan is underway! Construction and beautification will be taking place along Hohman Avenue between Sibley and Douglas. Due to this exciting news, Bizarre Bazaar will be held at Harrison Park/Hohman Avenue in 2011.

Event Activities

  • Live Bands
    • including the First Baptist Church Orchestra at 11am,

    • Bob Drobac/"Elvis" at 1pm

    • and The Relics from 2pm-5pm
    • The Relics are a five-piece classic rock band based out of Northwest Indiana. Their sound is very reminiscent of the classic rock bands from the 60's and 70's. Their music is a blend of the soulful songs of the 60's, 70's, and 80's with a nice mix of Motown and contemporary included. The Relics currently play throughout the Chicagoland area providing entertainment for all types of venues: clubs, private parties, festivals, and concerts and were named as one the Midwest region's top cover bands by the Midwest Beat Magazine.
